Il n'est pas trop tard! Vous pouvez encore vous inscrire pour participer au tournoi.

Les spectateurs sont invités à assister au tournoi, à l'intérieur et l'extérieur du fort, sans frais supplémentaires.  Le stationnement et l'accès au parc sont gratuits.  Des frais d'entrée minimes sont exigés pour visiter l'intérieur de Fort-Chambly.

Duel à l'épée sur le site historique de Fort Chambly

Samedi 6 Juin 2015, le lieu historique national de Fort Chambly résonnera du choc des lames d'acier lors de l'édition inaugurale du Duel Fort Chambly. Organisé par Escrime Mont-Royal (EMR), avec la collaboration de Parcs Canada et 3Macs, le Duel Fort Chambly est une compétition d'escrime à l'épée en plein air, un événement sans égal au Québec et au Canada. En marge de la compétition, on pourra aussi assisté à des ateliers d'explication et de démonstration de l'escrime moderne et historique, ainsi que sur l'histoire du fort. Le Duel Fort Chambly débutera à 10 heures sur la pelouse à l’est du fort, les combats de finales et demi-finales auront lieu dans l'enceinte du fort lui-même plus tard en après-midi. Cet événement sportif à saveur historique saura divertir toute la famille.  En cas de pluie le tout sera reporté au lendemain 7 Juin 2015. En garde!

Spectators are welcome to come and see the action inside and outside the Fort. Parking and access to the park is free. There is a nominal entry fee to visit the interior of the Fort.

A Call to Arms at Historic Fort Chambly

Saturday, June 6, 2015, the National historic site of Fort Chambly will resound to the clash of steel at the inaugural edition of the Duel Fort Chambly. Organised by Escrime Mont-Royal (EMR), with the collaboration of Parks Canada and 3Macs, the Duel Fort Chambly is an outdoor fencing competition, a unique event in Quebec and Canada.  The day’s events will also include explanations and demonstrations of modern fencing, historical fencing, and the history of the fort.  The Duel Fort Chambly begins at 10 am on the site’s outdoor grounds with the final rounds being fought in the fort itself later in the afternoon.  Bring the whole family and enjoy an entertaining event while experiencing a bit of history.  In case of rain all activities will be postponed to June 7, 2015.
