Initiation d'épée de cour / Introduction to smallword


Le dimanche 12 févier de 11h à 14h – Le prochain dans notre série d'ateliers sera Escrime historique : Initiation d'épée de cour. Kévin Côté, instructeur en escrime historique, ​​enseignera les bases de l'escrime classique de l'école française du 18e siècle. Le groupe passera au moins 2 heures á apprendre et à pratiquer ce style d'auto-défense historique. La session ne sera offerte que si au moins 4 participants réservent des places pour une classe de débutants en avance. Les escrimeurs d'épée de cours initiés seront les bienvenus pour l'escrime libre. Toute personne souhaitant participer à la classe ou à l'escrime libre doit confirmer sa présence au plus tard le mercredi 8 févier.

Sunday, ​February 12 (11 am to 2 pm)​ ​​– ​The next in our series of workshops will be Historical Fencing: Introduction to smallword. ​​Kévin Côté, ​​historical fencing instructor​​, will teach the art of classical French School fencing from the 18th century. The group will learn, train, and practice this self-defense historical style of fencing for at least 2 hours. This workshop will only be offered if a minimum of 4 participants reserve a spot for a beginners' class in advance. Initated smallsword fencers will be welcome for supervised open Historical Smallsword Fencing. Anyone wishing to attend the class or open fencing must confirm their attendance by the Wednesday, February 8.
