Épée/Fleuret/Sabre d'Or, Jan 6-7, Montreal

ME: Quite a few epeists took part in the individual event: Jean-Daniel Azuelos, Jean-Claude Beaudoin, Karl-Philippe Guérard, Ilya Krouglikov, Alexei Perepelkine, Derek Robertson. Klaus Reinhardt, the official German member of EMR spending his holidays in Montreal, also joined us for this competition. Derek and Jean-Claude reached the top 32 (out of 48), while Ilya finished 8th, losing to the eventual silver medalist Vincent Pelletier from Estoc.

MF: Benjamin Justus finished in the top 32 (out of 32), losing to the eventual silver medalist Jean-Francois Sigouin from Fleuret d'Argent.

WE: Elena Frantova finished 9th (out of 22).

WF: Swee Leng Tan and Melita Hadzagic both finished in the top 32 (out of 23).
