As some of you may already know, this weekend Montreal is hosting a Grand Prix where the best international fencers will compete both individually and in teams to accumulate points towards an eventual selection for the Olympic Games in Beijing. The tournament will be very strong and certainly spectacular, so don't miss this opportunity to watch the world's finest blades cross!
Escrime (Épée) Internationale de Montréal will start on Thursday with the World Cup in men's foil, followed by the Grand Prix in both men's and women's epee on Friday and Saturday. Epee team events will then close the competition on Sunday (please refer to the schedule below for exact times). All the action will take place at Complexe Claude-Robillard, near the Cremazie metro station, at 1000 av. Émile-Journault. The access to the site is free, except maybe for the finals (for which we may still have a couple of invitations left).
