As some of you may remember, this weekend Montreal is hosting a Grand Prix where the best international fencers will compete to improve their FIE standing for the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing. The tournament will be strong and spectacular, so don't miss this opportunity to watch the world's finest blades cross!
As last year, Escrime Internationale de Montréal will start on Thursday (tomorrow) with the World Cup in men's foil, followed by the Grand Prix in both men's and women's epee on Friday and Saturday. Epee team events will then close the competition on Sunday. Please refer to the schedule (below) for exact times. All the action will take place at Complexe Claude-Robillard, near Cremazie metro station, at 1000 av. Émile Journault. Entry is free for all, including the finals!
